How do I know which wrinkle relaxer I should make an appointment for when booking?

We make it easy! Simply make an appointment for either wrinkle relaxers or dermal fillers. If you would like wrinkle relaxers and dermal fillers during your appointment, please select the option for both. During your appointment Nurse Polly will determine the very best products for your individual needs.

How much does it cost to get Botox/Dysport injections from Nurse Polly?

Wrinkle relaxers are priced by unit and depends on which wrinkle relaxer is used.

  • $4.50 per unit for Dysport 

  • $12 per unit for Botox 

How many units of Botox/Dysport do you typically use on a client?

Clients commonly ask how many units of wrinkle relaxer it will take to achieve their desired results. While there are averages in the number of units needed for common treatment areas, the right amount of wrinkle relaxer for your individual needs can only be determined by a professional. 

Common treatment areas and estimated number of units typically used:

 Botox  $12 / unit 

  • Frown lines: 20 units

  • Crow’s feet: 12-24 units

  • Forehead lines: 8-20 units

  • Lips lines 4-8 units

  • Gummy smile 4-8 units

  • Neck lines 10-16 units

Dysport $4.50 / unit 

  • Frown lines: 40-50 units

  • Crow’s feet: 30-60 units

  • Forehead lines: 20-50 units

  • Lip lines 10-20 units

How long should I expect my appointment for wrinkle relaxers to take?

Including your consultation, your Botox/Dysport service will take only about 30 minutes. So convenient for clients with a busy schedule!

Should I plan for any downtime after my appointment?

There is no downtime needed after your Botox/Dysport service. Many clients come in on their lunch break and go right back to work afterwards.

How long does it take for wrinkle relaxers to start working and how long does it last?

Wrinkle relaxers results begin to show in 7-10 days for Botox and 3-5 days for Dysport. Results for both last about 3 months.

Do you offer your clients a topical numbing cream for Botox/Dysport injections?

Yes, Nurse Polly provides her clients with a topical numbing cream for their comfort. Most clients find that numbing cream is helpful when getting dermal fillers, but not necessary when getting wrinkle relaxers. Your comfort is important to us, let us know your personal preference.

What's the difference between Botox and Dysport?

Simply put, they are actually very similar, however some clients find that one product seems to be more effective for them than the other one.

Why does Botox cost so much more than Dysport?

Based on unit price, Botox appears to cost significantly more than Dysport. However, when injecting Dysport it requires approximately 2 times as many units compared to what is required with Botox. For example, if you are treating frown lines, it may to cost you (estimation only) about $220 using 20 units of Botox and will cost approximately  $175 using 50 units of Dysport.
